Students may also be disciplined for any violations of the Code of Student Conduct or Code of Student Conduct

  • Academic dishonesty
  • Forgery, altering College documents, or knowingly providing false information 
  • Disruption of the educational or administrative process of the College, by acts or expression
  • Physical abuse or threat of abuse to students, College employees, or their families
  • Verbal abuse or intimidation of students or College employees including shouting, use of profanity, or other displays of hostility
  • Theft of College property or the property of a College employee, student, or visitor
  • Vandalism or unauthorized destruction of College property or the property of a College employee, student, or visitor
  • Illigal sale, use, or possession of controlled substances
  • Possession, use, or threats of use of explosives or deadly weapons on College property
  • Lewd, indecent, or obscene behavior on College property or by any means of communication
  • Sexual harassment 
  • Sexual assault
  • Behavior or action that discriminates by race, creed, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, sexual preference, or disability
  • Soliciting or assisting another in an act that would subject students to a serious College sanction
  • Trespassing in an area of the College where the student is not authorized to be, or failure to leave immediately an area when directed by an employee of the College
  • Using University equipment or networks to violate software copyrights
  • Violation of the College visitor policy
  • Violation of any other lawful policy or directive of the College or its employees
  • Any action that would grossly violate the purpose of the University or the rights of those who comprise the College
  • Behavior harmful to the College's image, function, or contractual arrangements
  • Failure to meet financial obligations
  • Failure to obey municipal, state, and federal laws
  • Inciting discontent with other students
  • Failure to follow any safety rules or regulations, including dress codes
  • Failure to follow other posted rules
