This course will help participants understand national policy, strategy, and priorities for the protection of critical infrastructure and key resources (CI/KR). Key concepts and processes addressed in this course include: identification, assessment, prioritization, planning, & protection of CI/KR and a look at some of the general challenges faced by all sectors, as well as unique sector specific challenges. This course also includes exploration of the relationships and key interdependencies of CIP relative to Intelligence Gathering, Information Sharing, Safety, Security, Mutual Aid, and Business Continuity; as well as information about professional careers in Critical Infrastructure Protection.
