This course will help participants understand the advantages and challenges of using Intelligence and Information Sharing (IIS) as a tool for the Homeland Security professional. Key concepts and processes addressed in this course include: sources and technologies for intelligence gathering; intelligence analysis; legal and regulatory challenges of gathering intelligence and sharing data; the use of data technology and standards to facilitate information exchange; Fusion Center Design and Operation; making Intelligence actionable; as well as information about professional careers in Intelligence and Information Sharing.
