General education courses promote understanding, attitudes, and values which help students perform their personal and professional roles more effectively; exercise their obligations and privileges as citizens more intelligently; and enlighten and expand understanding of themselves and the scientific, social, and economic world in which they live.
The following two courses are required of all Associate of Science Degree candidates:
- College Mathematics
- College English
The candidates must also have successfully completed courses from each of the following four subject matter areas:
