Approved by the American College of Hyperbaric Medicine and the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology, this intensive, five-day course in hyperbaric medicine is appropriate for those individuals who have an interest in clinical hyperbaric medicine. The academic program includes currently accepted state and national standards for safe and clinically effective use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy and addresses current advances in the science and technology encompassing hyperbaric medicine. Practical training in transcutaneous oximetry monitoring is included. The program also offers an opportunity to experience chamber pressurization in a multi-place hyperbaric chamber.
