Surveying and Metrics (5 quarter credit units). This course introduces the mathematics and measurement procedures for surveying and construction layout. Topics include the fundamentals of surveying, the principles of distance and angular measurement, theodolites and leveling with specific application to construction. Prerequisites: CM 115
