The vertical (3F) position comprises approximately 80% of all wet-welding performed in the field. This course emphasizes the performance of high quality, defect-free wet welds by students. Training coupons are routinely tested for integrity by visual fillet break and macro-etch inspection. Superior consistent wet-welding performance is mandatory prior to advancing to 208.
Prerequisites: WT204 and approved physical.
