Credits/Hours: 6 Credits

Includes the administration of oxygen and the use of various adjuncts to assist in the management of the patient's airway. Also includes bandaging, splinting, and spinal immobilization techniques. Trauma, psychiatric emergencies, and obstetrical/gynecological emergencies are also covered. This course is designed to prepare student for the National Registry exam.

Prerequisite: MT281. Failure to pass MT282 requires student to repeat both MT281 and MT282.
