Credits/Hours: 6 Credits

Covers the role of the diver medic in commercial diving, advanced concepts and practice in recognition of and treatment of diving injuries, particularly decompression trauma, pulmonary injuries, and problems associated with saturation and deeper diving. Includes ear, nose, and throat (ENT) and Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) clinical presentations.

Prerequisites: DV114, DV122, DV124, MT281 and MT282 (or equivalent), and approved dive physical.
